I currently own the following: A Land Before Time, All Dogs Go To Heaven, An American Tail, Anastasia, Balto, Bartok the Magnificent, Fern Gully, Fievel Goes West, Prince of Egypt, Road to El Dorado, Sinbad, Spirit, The Secret of NIMH, and Thumbelina.
What is your favorite non-Disney movie?
Anastasia, obviously. Along with The Prince of Egypt and Road to El Dorado. Then Secret of NIMH and Fern Gully hold a special place in my heart.
Will you post downloads to these movies?
No. I bought each of the movies I own and I encourage you to do the same. They’re cheap, honestly, and you can find them online! Also, no, I am not with-holding the downloads because I don’t want to share- I don’t have downloads for you!
What about downloads of the music?
While I don’t encourage illegal downloading of music or movies I can understand how the soundtracks could be slightly more difficult to come by (although you can always check Amazon!), I don’t own all the soundtracks to share the music. I can happily point you in the direction of Kenya’s Fuck Yeah Non-Disney Music blog, though.
Where did you get your DVDs?
Most of them were bought at Target and Wal*Mart, though I purchased Road to El Dorado, Quest for Camelot/Cats Don’t Dance pack, and then some off of Amazon. None of these DVDs were more than $15.
Can you cap *insert movie title here*?
I will get around to capping each movie, honest! I don’t own them all and the movies I do own are both listed above and on the main page of this tumblr! I have a mental list/order I’m going in that I’ll sometimes break if enough people request it, but otherwise you’ll just have to be patient. :D
How do you make gifs?
I use two free programs that I downloaded and are available through a quick Google search. ‘COM Player’ and ‘GIMP’. Open your movie/video in the COM Player and make sure your ‘control panel’ is up. From there, there is a fancy button that says ‘screen capture’— you can hit that whenever you want to cap a particular scene. It’ll then save itself to a folder on your computer (I made a specific one called ‘Captures’!) and you can view them as you would any other image. From there, you open your art program (GIMP, in this case) and chose ‘open as layers’ from the ‘file’ drop-down. Highlight the layers you wish to use in your gif and they should all load as separate layers. From there you can resize each one (because it can only be so large to work on Tumblr), color it, do what you will, and then save it as an animation or .gif. The end. :D
What if you’ve posted my fanart/cosplay/etc. and I want it removed?
First, I apologize if I’ve posted someone of yours that you’d prefer not to be featured here! All you have to do is link me to the direct post of whichever item of art is yours and it shall be removed a.s.a.p. <3
What are you *not* featuring here?
I won’t post anime (not that I’m not a fan [Trust me, I am!], there is just SO MUCH of it and that would drive me insane, haha), computer animated movies (sorry, I’m preserving my love of 2-D), or anything by Disney (obviously). Also, I won’t do claymation, even though I am a fan of both Corpse Bride and Coraline. :) <3

It’s under ‘Archive’. Just click that button and it’ll take you to another page. From there, the search bar is on the top right-hand side.
Will you make a gif for me?
Sure! Just tell me what movie and try to describe the scene to the best of your ability and I’ll make it the moment I find a chance to.
Which movies have already been capped?
I’ve capped the entirety of Anastasia, Road to El Dorado (except the VERY end, ack!), and Fern Gully. The beginning half of Thumbelina, the beginning of Land Before Time, a majority of Secret of NIHM, aaaand bits and pieces of Balto and Spirit.
Note: I will be returning to the ones that haven’t been completed and I will still gif/cap parts of the ones that have been completed if there’s a graphic, gif, or scene you want, because I haven’t done EVERY-EVERY scene of anything except Anastasia.
